Development of community participation process is solving suicide problems successfully new normal in Maeteep Subdistrict, Ngao District, Lampang Province

This research aimed to conduct a situational analysis related to suicide and community participation in suicide prevention to develop and evaluate the suicide prevention model. This research and development by mixed method divided into three parts. There were 1) situational analysis: in 60 patients and community leaders selected by simple sampling technique. data were collected from interviews with respondents’ questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics; 2) development of a suicide prevention model in 30 community leaders selected by purposive sampling technique. Data evaluation suicide prevention model. The specific model used for 50 Maeteep community leaders selected by sample size technique with questionnaire and interviews; analyzed by using descriptive statistics and paired t-test.
The result found that the problem to successful suicide rate decreased and community participation were between low to moderate score. Maeteep Subdistrict was develop model from screen 2Q ST5 and Health Promotion to 3 COOPERATE, including 1) Empowerment cooperate 2) Budget cooperate 3) Information cooperate. The evaluation 3 COOPERATE before and after develop model were significantly at 0.05 (p<0.05) and no suicide problems successfully in Ban Maeteep Moo 2 Maeteep Subdistrict, Ngao District, Lampang Province.
