The development of the outpatient health service system of Chayangkun Family Doctor's Clinic Sappasitthiprasong Hospital Ubon Ratchathani Province

Abstract

The Family Doctor Clinic is one of the developments in the primary care system based on the heart of family medicine, which is patient-centered care. This research aims to to develop the service model of Chayangkun Family Doctor Clinic Sappasitthiprasong Hospital Ubon Ratchathani Province The research model is action research. Conducted between February 2023 and April 2023 by purposive sampling. The sample group consisted of the Executive Committee of Chayangkun Primary Care Network. and 21 Chayangkun Primary Care Service Providers and 385 recipients of services in the Chayangkun Family Doctor Clinic. Data were collected by using a questionnaire. and an assessment form for quality criteria and standards for primary health care services Data were analyzed using Paired t-test dependent to find mean, percentage, standard deviation and Paired t-test dependent to compare roles and satisfaction of providers before and after development. and analyzing content based information

The study found that There are 9 steps in the outpatient service development process, consisting of 1. Context and situation analysis 2. Action plan preparation 3. Developing the potential of the Chayangkun family doctor team 4. Implementing information technology in family doctor clinics 5. Outpatient service development Proactively operate in the community. 6. Workshop. “Infection prevention and control system” 7. Support, follow-up, supervision 8. Assessment 9. Take lessons learned, organize forums to exchange The operational analysis found that the sample group had an increase in the mean level of roles in outpatient services before the development at a statistically significant level of 0.05 (P-value<0.001) and after the clinical development. Doctors of the Chayangkun family passed the quality criteria and all 8 aspects of primary health service standards.
