As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  • Manuscripts submitted to the Thai Journal of Anesthesiology will be accepted on the understanding that the author must not have previously submitted the paper to another journal or have published the material elsewhere.
  • The manuscript file is prepared in an acceptable format, such as OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect.
  • Where applicable, URLs or DOI information for all references have been provided.
  • The manuscript text is formatted in single spacing using a 12-point “Times New Roman” font. Italics are used where appropriate instead of underlining, except for URL addresses. All figures, tables, and illustrations are embedded within the text at their appropriate locations.
  • The manuscript complies with the stylistic, formatting, and bibliographic requirements specified in the Guidelines for Authors.
  • For submissions undergoing peer review, all anonymization and blind-review preparation instructions have been followed.
  • All manuscripts must be prepared and submitted in English.
