How medical students study anesthesia: Experience from Sendai to Thailand

Abstract

To be a professional doctor, medical students
should achieve the basic concepts and technical skills
of anesthesia. Most medical schools emphasize the
anesthesia curriculum to be the vital subject and
stress that medical students should gain the clinical
perioperative experience by preoperative visiting,
intraoperative attending and postoperative caring
during the anesthesia rotation. Though, the identical
principles are demonstrated, the anesthesia courses
are different among institutions.
