บทคัดย่อ

ปัจจัยคุกคามสุขภาพจากการทำงานทั้งจากสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงานและสภาพการทำงาน เป็น ปัจจัยสำคัญที่ส่งผลกระทบต่อสุขภาพของคนงาน การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษา ปัจจัยคุกคามสุขภาพจากการทำงานและภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงของคนงานโรงงานยางแผ่นรมควัน กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นคนงานที่ทำงานในโรงงานยางแผ่นรมควันขนาดใหญ่ที่มีกระบวนการผลิตยางแผ่นรม ควันครบทุกขั้นตอน จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช จำนวน 219 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย ประกอบด้วย 1) เครื่องเก็บตัวอย่างอากาศ 2) เครื่องตรวจวัดก๊าซในบรรยากาศ 3) แบบประเมินส่วนของร่างกายทั้งหมด อย่างรวดเร็ว และ 4) แบบสัมภาษณ์ปัจจัยคุกคามสุขภาพจากการทำงานและภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยง ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาโดยผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ได้ค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาเท่ากับ 0.96 และทดสอบความเชื่อมั่นในส่วนปัจจัยคุกคามสุขภาพจากการทำงานและภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงได้ ค่าในระดับที่ยอมรับได้ (0.86 และ 0.85) การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา

ผลการวิจัย พบว่า

กลุ่มตัวอย่างรับรู้เกี่ยวกับการสัมผัสปัจจัยคุกคามสุขภาพในสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงานและสภาพ การทำงานของกระบวนการผลิตยางแผ่นรมควัน ดังนี้ ท่าทางการทำงานที่ก้มหรือเงยศีรษะ (ร้อยละ 100) เครื่องจักร/เครื่องมือ/อุปกรณ์ของมีคม (ร้อยละ 87.21) และเชื้อรา (ร้อยละ 85.39) จากการสังเกตโดยใช้แบบประเมินส่วนของร่างกายทั้งหมดอย่างรวดเร็ว พบว่า ร้อยละ 47.49 มีความเสี่ยงที่สัมพันธ์กับท่าทางการ ทำงานอยู่ในระดับสูงมาก ผลการตรวจวัดปริมาณฝุ่นควันและสารเคมีที่เป็นองค์ประกอบของฝุ่นควัน พบว่า ไม่เกินค่ามาตรฐานในทุกจุดเสี่ยงที่ทำการตรวจวัด สำหรับภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงจากการทำงาน พบว่า อาการผิดปกติที่พบบ่อยของแต่ละระบบ มีดังนี้ ระบบโครงร่างและกล้ามเนื้อ คือ ปวดหรือเมื่อยล้าหลัง (ร้อยละ 63.01) ระบบทางเดินหายใจ คือ ระคายเคืองจมูก/คอ (ร้อยละ 58.90) ระบบประสาท คือ เวียนศีรษะ (ร้อยละ 45.21) ระบบผิวหนัง คือ คันบริเวณผิวหนังและเล็บจากการเป็นเชื้อรา (ร้อยละ 26.30) สำหรับการบาดเจ็บ จากการทำงานที่พบมากที่สุด คือ นํ้ามันก๊าด/นํ้าล้างยาง/ฝุ่นแป้งกระเด็นเข้าตาหรือร่างกาย (ร้อยละ 29.22) ส่วนภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงจากแบบแผนวิถีการดำเนินชีวิต พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 40.64 มีการ รับรู้ภาวะสุขภาพโดยรวมในระดับตํ่า โดยที่ร้อยละ 63.93 รับรู้ว่ามีภาวะเสี่ยงเนื่องจากพฤติกรรมด้านการ ออกกำลังกายไม่เหมาะสม

ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่า คนงานโรงงานยางแผ่นรมควันต้องเผชิญความเสี่ยงจากปัจจัยคุกคามสุขภาพ จากการทำงานและพฤติกรรมเสี่ยงทางด้านสุขภาพที่ควรได้รับการปรับเปลี่ยนอย่างเหมาะสมเพื่อคงไว้ซึ่ง ภาวะสุขภาพที่ดี

Abstract

Occupational health hazards from both working environment and working conditions are important factors that affect workers health. This descriptive study was aimed to investigate the occupational health hazards and health status related to risk among workers in a smoked rubber sheet plant. The samples consisted of 219 workers in production line of a plant, Nakhon Si Thammarat province. The research instruments comprised of 1) air sampling pump 2) ambient air analyzers 3) the Rapid Entire Body Assessment [REBA], and 4) an interview form of occupational health hazards and health status related to risk, which had the content validity confirmed by a panel of experts and its index was 0.96. The reliability of this interview form was also tested and found to be acceptable, with occupational health hazards and health status related to risk receiving score of 0.86 and 0.85 respectively. Data analysis was performed using descriptive statistics.

The results of study

Occupational health hazards of smoked rubber sheet processing units as perceived by the samples included awkward posture with flexion/extension of neck (100 %), machinery/tools/sharp devices (87.21%), and fungi (85.39 %). The observation of working posture with the REBA found that 47.49 percent of the study samples had the risk associated with working posture at a very high level. The amount of smoke and chemicals composition of smoke did not exceed the standard value. With regard to health status related to risk, symptoms or disorders most frequently reported were back pain (63.01%) for musculoskeletal symptom, nose/throat irritation (58.90%) for respiratory symptom, dizziness (45.21%) for neurological symptom, itching from infected to skin and nail (26.03%) for skin symptom, and chemicals splashed into eye or body (29.22%) for work-related injuries. Concerning health status related to risk from lifestyle pattern, it was found that 40.64 percent of the study sample perceived their entire health status at a low level, while 63.93 percent perceived their risk from lifestyle pattern associated with inappropriate exercise behavior.

The results revealed Indicate that workers in a smoked rubber sheet plant are at risk from exposure to occupational health hazards and health risk behaviors that should be appropriately modified in order to maintain their health status.
