Focus

The Journal of Chulabhorn Royal Academy aims to:

  1. Serve as a platform for the dissemination of research and academic works in the fields of science, health sciences, medical technology, nursing, public health, veterinary science, environmental science, and innovation, for students, faculty members, researchers, and academics both in Thailand and internationally.

  2. Provide a source of academic knowledge and innovations in health, medical science and technology, public health, nursing, and environmental science that can be applied in practice, guiding and driving national and societal development through innovation.

  3. Promote academic collaboration networks among students, faculty, researchers, scholars, and innovators both domestically and internationally.

 

Scope

The journal accepts submissions in the following areas:

  • Health Science

  • Science and Technology

  • Health Professional Education

  • Health Technology

 

Types of Articles

The journal publishes two types of articles:

  1. Research Article – An article based on primary research data, study reports, or theses, summarizing the research process concisely in the format of a research article. The length is typically 10–15 pages (A4).

  2. Academic Article – An article based on literature review and compilation of knowledge on one or more topics within the journal’s scope. The content is organized to explain, analyze, or propose academic knowledge or innovations beneficial to society. The length is typically 10–15 pages (A4).

 

Publication Frequency

The journal is published quarterly (4 issues per year):

  • Issue 1: January – March

  • Issue 2: April – June

  • Issue 3: July – September

  • Issue 4: October – December

Note: The journal accepts articles in both Thai and English. From January 1, 2026, onwards, submissions will only be accepted in English.


The number of articles per issue is limited to 10.

 

Peer Review Process

All articles submitted to the journal undergo peer review by at least three experts in the relevant field. The review process is double-blind to ensure academic rigor and objectivity.

 

Copyright and Usage Rights

The journal is open access, allowing anyone to access and download articles from the website free of charge.

All content, including text, images, and tables published in the journal, is copyrighted by the Chulabhorn Royal Academy. Commercial use of the content requires written permission from the editorial office.

Authors may share and use their articles under a Creative Commons License (CC BY-NC-ND 4.0): Attribution – NonCommercial – NoDerivatives.

Articles reflect the opinions of the authors and do not represent the views of the Chulabhorn Royal Academy or its staff. Authors are fully responsible for the content of their articles.

 

Archiving Policy

The journal participates in long-term archiving through the Thai Journal Online (ThaiJo) system, an electronic academic journal database in Thailand.

 

Research Integrity Policy

Articles involving human subjects must receive approval from an ethics committee accredited by the National Research Council of Thailand and comply with international ethical standards and regulations.

Research involving animal subjects must be approved by an ethics committee in accordance with the Animals for Scientific Purposes Act, B.E. 2558.

Authors must respect participant privacy and obtain consent for publication of research data. Documentation must be submitted along with the manuscript or upon request by the editorial office.

 

Conflict of Interest Policy

The journal requires transparency in conflicts of interest for authors, reviewers, and editors to ensure unbiased and fair publication.

  • Authors must disclose any direct or indirect interests related to the article.

  • Reviewers must inform the editorial office of any conflicts of interest.

  • Editors evaluate disclosures to maintain fairness and transparency in the review process.

 

Article Processing Charges

The Journal of Chulabhorn Royal Academy does not charge any fees for article publication.
