Abstract

This cross-sectional study examined onset-to-arrival time, associated factors, and predictors among 120 acute stroke patients at Kranuan Crown Prince Hospital (September 2025-February 2026). Data were collected via questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistics, chi-square test, Pearson's correlation, and multiple logistic regression. Overall, 62.50% of patients arrived within 270 minutes (mean=615.54, SD=966.99). Marital status was the only personal factor significantly associated with arrival time (p= 0.001). Perceived stroke severity and EMS accessibility were negatively correlated with arrival time (p< 0.001). When analyzing the predictors of time to hospital arrival using multiple logistic regression, the model could significantly predict the time
(p < 0.001, Nagelkerke R2 = 0.49), with the total score of perceived severity of stroke being the only statistically significant predictor (p <0.001). The findings suggest that promoting the perception of stroke severity along with improving the emergency medical system could reduce the time to treatment and disability from stroke.
