ผลการใช้นวัตกรรมการให้ข้อมูลผู้ป่วยเด็กโรคหัวใจพิการตั้งแต่กำเนิด เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมก่อนการผ่าตัดหัวใจแบบเปิด

การศึกษาครั้งนี้เพื่อศึกษาผลการใช้การใช้นวัตกรรมการให้ข้อมูลด้วยหนังสือการ์ตูน, สื่อมัลติมีเดีย การ์ตูนเรื่องโรคหัวใจพิการแต่กำเนิดต่อความรู้เรื่องโรคหัวใจพิการแต่กำเนิดของเด็กวัยเรียนที่เข้ามารับการรักษาด้วยการผ่าตัดจำนวน 30 ราย อายุระหว่าง 6-12 ปี เข้ารับการรักษาที่หอผู้ป่วยศัลยกรรม 3B โรง พยาบาลศรีนครินทร์ มหาวิทยาลัยขอนแก่น วิธีการเก็บข้อมูลให้ผู้ป่วยเด็กได้ดูการ์ตูนจากหนังสือและสื่อวีซีดีเรื่องโรคหัวใจแต่กำเนิดก่อนทำผ่าตัดหัวใจ โดยวัดความรู้ก่อนและหลังการดูหนังสือการ์ตูน, สื่อมัลติมีเดีย การ์ตูนเรื่องโรคหัวใจพิการแต่กำเนิด ผลการศึกษาเมื่อเปรียบเทียบคะแนนเฉลี่ยความรู้ก่อนและหลังการดูการ์ตูน โดยใช้สถิติ Paired T-Test พบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีคะแนนหลังได้รับความรู้ด้านโรคและการเตรียมตัว ก่อนผ่าตัดและการปฎิบัติตัวหลังผ่าตัดจากสื่อหนังสือการ์ตูนและมัลติมีเดียเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p<0.05) ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้ สามารถนำนวัตกรรมไปใช้เตรียมเด็กป่วยที่บ้านและโรงเรียนโดยการพิจารณาจัดทำหนังสือ การ์ตูน และสื่อมัลติมีเดีย เรื่อง “โรคหัวใจพิการแต่กำเนิด” ไปเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของ การนำไปใช้ในการให้ความรู้เด็กโรคหัวใจพิการแต่กำเนิดก่อนมานอนรักษาด้วยการผ่าตัดที่โรงพยาบาล

Abstract

Purpose of this study aimed to investigate the effects of health educational innovation by the cartoon book and VCD ùCongenital heart diseaseû as a material that can inform patients of pre-operative preparations and to correct perceptions of congenital heart disease. The study was conducted through a sample of 30 school age patients aged between 6-12 years old (mean age = 10.7 years) admitted at the surgical 3B ward of the Srinagarind Hospital of Khonkaen University. Methods: Using the cartoon book and VCD ùCongenital heart diseaseû as an intervention, pre-test and post-test results were compared on perceptions on congenital heart disease and pre-operative preparations. Data analyzed using paired t-test. A study revealed that post-test scores were higher than pre-test scores significantly (p<0.05). As an intervention, the cartoon book and VCD ùCongenital heart diseaseû can be used to provide school-age patients with information and knowledge to correct their perceptions of congenital heart disease and pre-operative preparations.
