congenital varicella syndrome

Abstract

AbstractCongenital varicella syndrome was the rare disease and no specific treatment. But the disease had high morbidity which had suffer to neonate and caregiver. This case report was a term female neonate who was born from maternal history of chicken pox at 2 month of gestration. At birth, neonate showed deformity of right arm and specific cutaneous lesion has been called cicatricial scarring over right arm. Further investigation showed chorioretinitis both eyes and CT brain showed mark diffuse cerebral atrophy with multiple calcification in both cerebral hemisphere and marked CSF collection in both cerebralบทคัดย่อ

โรคสุกใสแต่กำเนิดเป็นโรคที่พบไม่บ่อย ซึ่งไม่มีการรักษาที่เฉพาะเจาะจง อีกทั้งก่อให้เกิดความพิการแก่ทารก ทำให้เกิดผลกระทบต่อผู้เลี้ยงดู สร้างความทุกข์ทรมานแก่มารดาเป็นอย่างมาก รายงานผู้ป่วยนี้ได้นำเสนอผู้ป่วยทารกแรกเกิดที่เกิดจากมารดาซึ่งมีประวัติเป็นที่มีประวัติสุกใสขณะตั้งครรภ์ได้ 2 เดือน แรกเกิดพบทารกมีความผิดปกติของผิวหนัง และแขนขวาผิดรูป ซึ่งเข้าได้กับโรคสุกใสแต่กำเนิด ตรวจตาพบมี chorioretinitis ของตาทั้ง 2 ข้าง CT brain พบความผิดปกติ
