The development of guideline for pre-operative patient care.

Abstract

Objective : To study the efficiency of guideline for pre-operative patient care.

Method : Studying and analyzing data,constructing the action direction,applying the direction,and evaluating were the goal to develop the quality of patient supervision before the operation taken.The evaluation tool of the guideline for preoperative patients was consisted of anxiety test before the operation taken and satisfaction questionnaire of the development of guideline for pre-operative patients certified by the scholars,after that,using Pearson's correlation coefficient to find confidence level at 0.89 and 0.84,respectively.Statistical techniques used in data analysis were percentage,mean,paired t-test.

Result : Pre-operative patients significantly reduced their anxiety at .001 and non-exposure of undesired occurrence.The scores showing the satisfaction toward the guideline to prevent those issues were scaled at high level with its mean 4.27 and standard deviation 0.72
