Tooth replantation : A case report.

Abstract

A case report of 28 - years old Thai male patient whose tooth was avulsed accidentally when he was hit. With extraoral time about 7 hours, the dry tooth was brought to a dentist. Extraoral root canal treatment was performed before replacing the tooth into the socket and the splint was done. After splint removal, follow up for eighteen months by clinical and radiographic examination. It was found that ankylosis had occured. Patient has no symptom and the tooth can function normally.
