Promoting of behaviors prevention of InfluenzaA/H1N1 in the student leader Ban Rai Wittaya School, Ban Rai District, Uthaithani Province.

Abstract
Therefore, the objective of the experimental research, presented in this focused on promoting behaviors in the prevention of influenza A/H1N1 in the leader student BanRai Wittaya School, Ban Rai District, Uthaithani Province. The research applied theories of health beliefs model self efficacy theory and sharing activities learning in the prevention of influenza A/H1N1. The sample group included 65 students with the treatments including learning & sharing activities in the areas of food/nutrition, physical exercise, emotional issues, first aid, identification of risk levels, public relations, preparation of influenza AH1N1 prevention plans, in influenza A/H1N1 prevention in the school. The research was carried out during June 2010 – December 2011, and the results were collected through the administration of questionnaires and analyzed by means of percentage, averages & standard deviation, Paired samples t–test, Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The results were as follows. Students leader
showed improved knowledge of influenza A/H1N1, perceptions of severe epidemics, and risks and behaviors and participation in prevention at a statistically significant level (p ≤ 0.05). It was found that age, and participation in prevention were positively correlated with preventive behavior at a statistically significant level (p ≤ 0.05). Therefore, influenza/H1N1 prevention activities in schools should involve students participating in gaining knowledge, critical thinking, and taking action in order that students are not in danger of contracting influenza/H1N1.
