บทคัดย่อ
บัวบก ชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ Centella asiatica พืชล้มลุก ใบรูปทรงกลม คล้ายรูปไต (reniform) พบสารกลุ่ม triterpenoid ชื่อว่า centelloids จัดอยู่ในบัญชียาหลักแห่งชาติ คือ ยาบัวบก (ยาแคปซูล, ยาชง) ยาครีมบัวบก สรรพคุณทางการแพทย์แผนไทย ใช้รับประทาน แก้ช้ำใน เลือดคั่งในเนื้อเยื่อ แก้ไข้ ปวดศีรษะ ร้อนในกระหายน้ำ ใช้ภายนอก ช่วยห้ามเลือด แผลไฟไหม้ น้ำร้อนลวก ฟกช้ำดำเขียว ถอนพิษแมลงสัตว์กัดต่อย ฤทธิ์ทางเภสัชวิทยา ได้แก่ ฤทธิ์สมานแผล ฤทธิ์เพิ่มการสังเคราะห์คอลลาเจน ฤทธิ์เพิ่มการไหลเวียนเลือด ป้องกันภาวะความจำเสื่อม ฤทธิ์ลดการอักเสบ
