บทคัดย่อ
กระดูกสันหลังส่วนคอกดทับเส้นประสาทเป็นภาวะที่เกิดจากการอักเสบและกดทับเส้นประสาทบริเวณคอตรงตำแหน่งที่เส้นประสาทเดินทางออกมา โดยส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากหมอนรองกระดูกและกระดูกสันหลังคอที่เสื่อม การวินิจฉัยภาวะนี้ทำได้โดยการซักประวัติและตรวจร่างกาย แต่ต้องควรพิจารณาภาวะอื่นที่มีอาการคล้ายกับภาวะนี้ได้ เช่น ภาวะที่มาจากการกดทับเส้นประสาทส่วนปลาย (entrapment neuropathies) ซึ่งบทความนี้จะมีการอภิปรายถึงพยาธิวิทยา อาการและอาการแสดง และการตรวจประเมินทางคลินิกของภาวะกระดูกสันหลังส่วนคอกดทับเส้นประสาท
