บทคัดย่อ
ยาฟีนาสเตอร์ไรด์ (Finasteride) เป็นยาในกลุ่ม 5α-reductase inhibitor ออกฤทธิ์ยับยั้งการสร้างฮอร์โมนเพศชาย dihydrotestosterone (DHT) จึงสามารถใช้ในการรักษาภาวะต่อมลูกหมากโต ภาวะผมร่วงในเพศชาย และภาวะขนดกจากฮอร์โมนเพศชายที่มากเกินในเพศหญิง โดยอาการข้างเคียงที่พบบ่อย ได้แก่ การหย่อนสมรรถภาพทางเพศ และเต้านมโต
