Focus and Scope

The Royal Thai Army Medical Journal is an academic journal of the Royal Thai Army Medical Department. Its purpose is to disseminate research and knowledge related to medical affairs and medical services to personnel under the Royal Thai Army Medical Department. The journal accepts submissions in both Thai and English and is published quarterly, four issues per year.

Peer Review Process

All manuscripts and review articles are peer-reviewed by the editorial board or at least two external experts. There are three reviewers who evaluate each article after submission. The review period is 30 days. The outcomes of the review are (1) acceptance for consideration; (2) acceptance after revision; or (3) rejection.

Publication Frequency

Published four times per year (January–March, April–June, July–September, October–December).

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Journal History

The Royal Thai Army Medical Journal was founded in 1948, and from 1948 to 1987 it was published under the title “Withayasan Senarak.” It was later renamed “Wetchasan Phaet Thahanbok (Royal Thai Army Medical Journal).”
