Abstract
The army medical department had established the army medical service in 3 southern provinces project by setting up mobile medical team for servicing the medical needs of local people. The study of local people and officer’s attitude was done for evaluating the outcome of the project. The descriptive study was performed with the 381 local people who were treated by the army mobile medical team and 504 officers who worked in there. The research instruments were 2 form questionnaires and administered by interview. The questionnaire reliability was done by 5 army medical department division directors with Cronbach’s alpha of reliability coefficients. The reliabilities are 0.83 and 0.70 respectively. Data analysis was performed using percentage mean and standard deviation.The results showed that the local people’s appreciation to the army medical mobile team was into excellent level and the agreement of local officers with the action of the army mobile medical team was into good level.The results of this study can be used for improving the army mobile medical service action and planning the further work.
