Multiple Casualties Management for Explosion Incident in Phramongkutklao Hospital: A Case Series

Abstract
There was an insurgence explosion in the waiting room for commissioned officers of His Majesty the King’s 6 Cycle Birthday Anniversary Building at Phramongkutklao Hospital, Bangkok on May 22, 2017. Twentyone injured victims were triaged and brought to the Emergency Department. Mass Casualties Incident (MCI) plan was requested to be declared effectively. After the victims were assessed and resuscitated at the Emergency Department, seven victims were admitted to the hospital and fourteen injured were discharged and scheduled for follow-up appointments. All casualties were survived and dispositioned.
