ภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงของเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกปาล์มน้ำมัน ในตำบลมะขามเตี้ย อำเภอเมืองสุราษฎร์ธานี จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี

การศึกษาแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อประเมินภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงของเกษตรกรผู้ปลูกปาล์มน้ำมัน ในเกษตรกรผู้ปาล์มน้ำมัน จังหวัดสุราษฎร์ธานี มีการเก็บข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบประเมินภาวะสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง จำนวน 186 คน และแบบประเมิน Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) โดยใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลสถิติเชิงพรรณนา
กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่เป็นเพศชาย ร้อยละ 83.3 สัญชาติไทย ร้อยละ 94.6 อายุเฉลี่ย 39.7 (SD.±10.3) ปี น้ำหนักเฉลี่ย 61.3 (SD.±7.6) กิโลกรัม ส่วนสูงเฉลี่ย 166.1 (SD.±16.1) เซนติเมตร มีค่าดัชนีมวลกายอยู่ในเกณฑ์ปกติ ร้อยละ 75.3 มีลักษณะงานที่ต้องยกเคลื่อนย้าย ร้อยละ 88.2 มีการปวดเมื่อยหรืออาการบาดเจ็บทางระบบกระดูกและกล้ามเนื้อ ร้อยละ 60.2 มีสภาพแวดล้อมการทำงานที่มีฝุ่นฟุ้งกระจาย ร้อยละ 64.5 ต้องทำงานในบริเวณที่มีเชื้อโรค สัตว์/แมลงมีพิษ ร้อยละ 73.7 กลุ่มตัวอย่างส่วนใหญ่รู้สึกเหนื่อย/อ่อนเพลีย/เสียเหงื่อมาก จากการสัมผัสความร้อน ร้อยละ 80.0 เกิดผื่นคันตามผิวหนังจากแมลงสัตว์ กัดต่อย ร้อยละ 73.1 การประเมินความเสี่ยงด้านการยศาสตร์ มีคะแนนอยู่ในช่วง 11 คะแนนหรือมากกว่า โดยมีความเสี่ยงสูงมาก ร้อยละ 52 ช่วง 8-10 คะแนน ความเสี่ยงสูง ร้อยละ 32 และช่วง 4-7 คะแนน ความเสี่ยงปานกลาง ร้อยละ 16
ดังนั้นเพื่อป้องกันไม่ให้เกิดการบาดเจ็บเกิดขึ้น โดยต้องปรับเปลี่ยนวิธี ท่าทางการทำงาน หรือมีการใช้อุปกรณ์เครื่องมือต่างๆ เพื่อช่วยทุ่นแรง
