ความชุกและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพ เพื่อควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดของผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวาน อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพัทลุง

การศึกษาเชิงวิเคราะห์แบบภาคตัดขวางครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความชุกและปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพเพื่อควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดของผู้ป่วยโรคเบาหวาน เขตอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดพัทลุง กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้ป่วยเบาหวาน จำนวน 390 คน ปีงบประมาณ 2567 ใช้แบบสอบถามที่พัฒนาขึ้นโดยผู้วิจัย มีค่าดัชนีความตรงเชิงเนื้อหา (IOC) ระหว่าง 0.67–1.00 และค่าความเชื่อมั่น (Cronbach’s alpha) เท่ากับ 0.83 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนาและการถดถอยโลจิสติกพหุคูณ
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้ป่วยเบาหวานมีความชุกของการใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพอยู่ที่ร้อยละ 8.7 ผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ใช้มากที่สุดคือผลิตภัณฑ์เสริมอาหาร (ร้อยละ 50.0) และยาสมุนไพร (ร้อยละ 23.5) ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับการใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ ได้แก่ การไม่มีโรคร่วม (ORAdj.=2.93, 95%CI=1.13-7.57, p-value=0.027) ระดับค่า HbA1c ที่สูงขึ้น (ORAdj.=1.31, 95%CI=1.03-1.66, p-value=0.026) การได้รับคำแนะนำจากสมาชิกในครอบครัว (ORAdj.=2.78, 95%CI=1.30-5.95, p-value=0.009) การตระหนักรู้ในปัญหาสุขภาพระดับสูง (ORAdj.=2.61, 95%CI=1.08-6.25, p-value=0.032) และแรงสนับสนุนจากครอบครัวและชุมชนระดับสูง (ORAdj. =2.44, 95%CI=1.04-7.70, p-value=0.040)
ดังนั้น ควรส่งเสริมให้ผู้ป่วยเบาหวานมีความตระหนักรู้ด้านสุขภาพ และได้รับการสนับสนุนจากครอบครัวและชุมชนอย่างเหมาะสม เพื่อให้สามารถตัดสินใจใช้ผลิตภัณฑ์สุขภาพได้อย่างปลอดภัย ควบคู่ไปกับการรักษาทางการแพทย์ โดยเฉพาะในกลุ่มที่ควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลได้ไม่ดีและไม่มีโรคร่วม ซึ่งจะช่วยเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการควบคุมระดับน้ำตาลในเลือด
