This action to research aimed to development of a antimicrobial practice guidelines, Phen Hospital. The study was conducted from April to August 2020. The processes of the development of the antimicrobial practice guideline consist of: The situation analysis and development of antimicrobial practice guideline, and evaluation the antimicrobial practice guideline. The samples were 3 groups including 11 members of Infection control committee Phen Hospital for the situations analysis and development the antimicrobial practice guideline and; 11 Infectious control experts who appropriateness evaluation for practice guidelines; and 80 registered nurses Phen Hospital to evaluation the antimicrobial practice guideline. Tools used in this study were the newly antimicrobial practice guideline and the assessment on the appropriateness of antimicrobial practice guideline with IOC between 0.67-1.00 and the confident value was 0.98 of Cronbach's Alpha Coefficient. Data analysed by using descriptive statistics, frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation, contents analysis in qualitative data.
The results of the study revealed that the guideline of the development of a Antimicrobial Practice Guidelines consisted of 9 main processes: 1) The placement of patients with antimicrobial resistance; 2) The Handling of antimicrobial fabrics in patients with drug resistance; 3) The transportation of antimicrobial resistant infected patients; 4) The hand hygiene; 5) The personal protective equipments for an antimicrobial infection; 6) The environmental control of patients with antimicrobial resistance; 7) The compliance with the prevention of contact precautions; 8) The specimens collection of patients with antimicrobial resistance; and 9) The receiving and referring patients and data with antimicrobial resistance. The overall suitability of the guideline was highest level (mean 4.36, SD 0.67). The overall practice evaluation was at high level, (mean 3.86, SD 0.59).
