ผลกระทบของการแพร่ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโควิด 19 ต่อการศึกษาแพทยศาสตร์และความมั่นใจในการประกอบวิชาชีพเวชกรรมของนักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นคลินิกปีสุดท้าย คณะแพทยศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่

ภูมิหลัง: จากสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อไวรัสโควิด 19 ส่งผลให้มีการปรับรูปแบบการเรียนการสอนแพทยศาสตร์ด้วยการเรียนออนไลน์และลดการศึกษาภาคปฏิบัติกับผู้ป่วยลง วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลกระทบของการแพร่ระบาดเชื้อไวรัสโควิด 19 ต่อการศึกษาแพทยศาสตร์และศึกษาปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความมั่นใจในการประกอบวิชาชีพเวชกรรมของนิสิตนักศึกษาแพทย์ปีสุดท้าย วิธีการ: การศึกษาเชิงพรรณนาภาคตัดขวาง เก็บข้อมูลจากการตอบแบบสอบถามของนักศึกษาแพทย์ชั้นปีที่ 6 คณะแพทยศาสตร์มหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่ที่ปฏิบัติงานที่โรงพยาบาลมหาราชนครเชียงใหม่ ในช่วงสถานการณ์ระบาดของเชื้อโควิด 19 จำนวน 95 คน ใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา และการวิเคราะห์การถดถอย ผล: กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีเพศหญิงมากกว่าครึ่งหนึ่งคิดเป็นร้อยละ 54.74 อายุเฉลี่ย 23.62 ปี 0.77 พบผลกระทบด้านการเรียนรู้ผู้ป่วยบนวอร์ดสูงถึงร้อยละ 96.84 มีภาวะวิตกกังวลและซึมเศร้า 1 ใน 3 ทั้งหมดได้รับวัคซีนไวรัสโควิด 19 ความมั่นใจในการประกอบวิชาชีพเวชกรรมตามเกณฑ์แพทยสภาทั้ง 7 ด้านอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง ผลวิเคราะห์ multiple regression analysis พบปัจจัยด้านภาวะซึมเศร้าสัมพันธ์กับผลรวมความมั่นใจในการประกอบวิชาชีพเวชกรรม (coefficient -2.221, 95% CI -4.20 ถึง -0.23, p-value = .029) สรุป: ในสถานการณ์การแพร่ระบาดของเชื้อไวรัสโควิด 19 พบปัจจัยด้านภาวะซึมเศร้าสัมพันธ์กับผลรวมความมั่นใจในการประกอบวิชาชีพเวชกรรมของนักศึกษาแพทย์ปีสุดท้าย ดังนั้น หน่วยงานที่มีส่วนเกี่ยวข้องควรมีการคัดกรองภาวะซึมเศร้าเพื่อช่วยเหลือในการรักษาและให้ความสนับสนุนด้านการศึกษา เพื่อลดการเกิดผลกระทบด้านลบต่อความมั่นใจในการประกอบวิชาชีพเวชกรรมของนักศึกษาแพทย์ในอนาคต
