Abstract

This research and development aims to study the problem conditions of pharmaceutical information system development related to Medication management system development; develop and evaluate the pharmaceutical information system as an important mechanism to drive the improvement of the quality of the pharmaceutical system. The population were pharmacists in Lamphun Hospital. The data were collected through categorized, content analysis and analyzed by descriptive and inferential statistics, multiple regression analysis in Excel 2019, the result revealed that: (1) the development of integrated pharmaceutical practice guideline, 2015-2019; achieved Pharmaceutical system standard and hospital accreditation key indicator of the Health Region 1 and The Ministry of Public Health. (2) The development of the 10 key success factors model, drive the drug adverse reaction surveillance system in Lamphun Hospital and Mueang Lamphun District Health Service Network, 2017-2019, resulted the quality score 5.0 based on the criteria of the HPVC FDA Thai. The quality score and number of reports for 2017-2019 were 7.60, 9.51 and 8.60, the 8th in the country and the 6th in the Ministry of Public Health in 2017; the 2nd in the country, and the 1st in the Ministry of Public Health in 2018-19 and there was a reporting rate of more than 500 per million population, equivalent to that of the WHO member states with the highest reporting rates. (3) Development of a system for recording and evaluating pharmaceutical documentation in the management of Drug therapy problems, 2017-2019. The drug therapy problem management relative weight (SumRwDTP) averaged 5,669.10±7,435.64, drug therapy problem management quality score (CmiDTP) level 2 (experience level CmiDTP=16-30 ) was 17.34 ± 12.14. CmiDTP factor include FTE clinic, FTE dispensing, and year experience (Multiple R=0.7626; Adjust R Square=0.5327) and drug therapist level of 30 pharmacists, Advanced level 3 (CmiDTP= 31-45), 3 (10 %); experience level 2 (CmiDTP = 16-30), 15 (50%), and practitioner level 1 (CmiDTP<15.00), 12 (40 %). The success factor model and pharmaceutical documentation and valuation system are innovations that have a positive impact on the quality development of medication management systems.
