Abstract

The purpose of this study was to develop a guideline for using the TaWai For Health tool for reporting and monitoring adverse drug reactions among non-communicable disease patients in sub-district health promotion hospitals. Warin Chamrap District, Ubon Ratchathani Province.  Methods : Action research in the scope of the study of NCDs patients receiving services in Warin Chamrab sub-district health promotion hospital network.  Collected data with TaWai For Health tools and develop guidelines through a process of consultation with stakeholders. Quantitative data analysis using percentage statistics and content analysis. Implementation period January 2022 –  January 2023.

Results of the study of 3,998 NCD patients found that ADR was 67 people, representing 1.7%. The most common cause was Enalapril, Amlodipine, Metformin, and Glipizide, respectively. 92.5% of ADRs were due to drug side effects and 7.5% from drug allergy. All cases were mild. Assess the relationship Naronjo's algorithm at a level of certain 49.3%, level of probability 50.7% .The guideline for using the TaWai For Health tool for ADR reporting and monitoring consists of 7 steps: 1. Detects the patient's ADR problems according to established guidelines. 2. Take a history and assess the relationship of the symptoms. 3. Solve problems and advise patients. 4.Collect report data in the TaWai For Health system. 5. Enter the ADR data in the database of the hospital and sub-district health promotion hospitals to prevent re-allergic drug allergies. 6. Submit reports to HPVC. Center. 7. Analysis of the drug safety situation reflects the data of the relevant practitioners every 3 months.

Recommendations Users of the TaWai For Health tool should study the system in depth to facilitate accurate reporting and complete information. Able to reflect on information and manage issues that are relevant to the area's problems.
