การศึกษาครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อพัฒนากรอบสมรรถนะพยาบาลจิตเวชที่ดูแลโรคผู้ป่วยจิตเภท โดยประยุกต์แนวคิดการพัฒนากรอบสมรรถนะของฐิติพัฒธ์ พิชญธาดาพงค์ (2554) กลุ่มตัวอย่างเลือกแบบเจาะจงประกอบด้วยพยาบาลจิตเวชที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคจิตเภท จำนวน 18 คน ซึ่งคัดเลือกพยาบาลจิตเวชที่มีคุณสมบัติตรงตามที่กำหนดเข้าร่วมประชุมเชิงปฏิบัติการ จัดทำร่างกรอบสมรรถนะพยาบาลจิตเวชที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคจิตเภท ประชาพิจารณ์ ทดลองประเมินและปรับปรุงแก้ไข ผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ จำนวน 15 คน ตรวจความตรงตามเนื้อหา โดยมีเกณฑ์การยอมรับค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาของพฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความสามารถเป็นรายข้อ (Item-level Content Validity Index: I-CVI) เท่ากับ .80

ผลการศึกษาครั้งนี้ แสดงถึงกรอบสมรรถนะพยาบาลจิตเวชที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคจิตเภท ประกอบด้วย 33 พฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความสามารถ ซึ่งแบ่งเป็นระดับความสามารถ 5 ระดับ ดังนี้ 1) ความสามารถระดับ Beginner มีพฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความสามารถ 5 ข้อ 2) ความสามารถระดับ Skill Practice มีพฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความสามารถ 6 ข้อ 3) ความสามารถระดับ Applied มีพฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความสามารถ 9 ข้อ 4) ความสามารถระดับ Advanced มีพฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความสามารถ 7 ข้อ และ 5) ความสามารถระดับ Expert มีพฤติกรรมบ่งชี้ความสามารถ 6 ข้อข้อเสนอแนะ ควรนำกรอบสมรรถนะมาประเมินพยาบาลจิตเวชที่ดูแลผู้ป่วยโรคจิตเภท และนำผลมาจัดทำแผนพัฒนาบุคลากร

Abstract

This study aimed to develop the competency framework for psychiatric nurses who provided care for persons with schizophrenia based on the competency framework developed by Titipat Pitchayatadapong (2011). Purposive sampling was used to select 18 psychiatric nurses who provided care for persons with schizophrenia. The psychiatric nurses were selected purposively based on the inclusion criteria. All of them then develop the draft of psychiatric nurse competency framework, made it to public hearing, evaluated, and revised it, respectively. Final step was to evaluate the content validity of the framework by 15 nursing professionals and made the revision when needed. The Item-level Content Validity Index (I-CVI) of the framework was .80.

The result of this study demonstrated the standardized competency framework for psychiatric nurse who provided care for persons with schizophrenia. It consisted of 33 competency indicators which divided into 5 levels: 1) Beginner level which comprised of 5 competency indicators, 2) Skill Practice level which comprised of 6 competency indicators, 3) Applied level which comprised of competency indicators, 4) Advanced level which comprised of 7 competency indicators, and 5) Expert level which comprised of 6 competency indicators. This competency framework can be used to evaluate the psychiatric nurses who providedcare for persons with schizophrenia. This can lead to the information basis to plan for the staff development based on this framework.
