ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะซึมเศร้าในญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทสูงอายุ

บทคัดย่อ
วัตถุประสงค์ : เพื่อศึกษาภาวะซึมเศร้าในญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทสูงอายุและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะซึมเศร้า
วิธีการศึกษา : เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบหาความสัมพันธ์ กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทสูงอายุ พาผู้ป่วยมารับบริการที่แผนกผู้ป่วยนอกในโรงพยาบาลจิตเวชกรมสุขภาพจิต กระทรวงสาธารณสุข จำนวน 120 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย 6 ส่วน คือ 1) แบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไปของญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทสูงอายุ 2) แบบสอบถามภาวะซึมเศร้า 3) แบบสอบถามภาระในการดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท 4) แบบสอบถามแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม 5) แบบประเมินกลยุทธ์ในการรับมือกับความเครียดแบบสั้นฉบับภาษาไทย และ 6) แบบวัดความขัดแย้งในครอบครัว วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนาและหาค่าความสัมพันธ์โดยใช้สถิติสหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน
ผลการศึกษา : กลุ่มตัวอย่าง ร้อยละ 41.7 มีภาวะซึมเศร้า (mean = 4.64, SD = 4.48) โดยภาระการดูแลและความขัดแย้งในครอบครัวมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกระดับปานกลางกับภาวะซึมเศร้าในญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทสูงอายุ อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (r = .561, .437) แรงสนับสนุนทางสังคมและกลยุทธ์ในการแก้ปัญหามีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบระดับต่ำและระดับปานกลางกับภาวะซึมเศร้าในญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทสูงอายุอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 (r = -.280, -.317)
สรุป : เพื่อป้องกันและลดภาวะซึมเศร้าในญาติผู้ดูแล จึงควรสนับสนุนให้มีการลดภาระการดูแลและความขัดแย้งในครอบครัว เพิ่มแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคมรวมทั้งความรู้และทักษะเกี่ยวกับกลยุทธ์ในการแก้ปัญหาแก่ญาติผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทสูงอายุต่อไป
