ผลของโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่อต่อภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแล และอาการทางจิตของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชน * EFFECTS OF BRIEF FAMILY SUPPORT INTERVENTION ON CAREGIVERS’ BURDEN AND PSYCHIATRIC SYMPTOMS OF SCHIZOPHRENIC PATIENTS IN COMMUNITY

บทคัดย่อ

Abstract

Objectives: The present study was aimed at investigating the effects of brief family support intervention on caregivers’ burden of families’ caregivers and psychiatric symptoms of schizophrenic patients in community.

Methods:This study was a quasiexperimental research. The sample consisted of 40 families of schizophrenic patients who had been diagnosed by a psychiatrist as ICD10 criteria with no other psychiatric disorder and primary caregivers were living in the same family with schizophrenic patients in Muang district of Phetchaburi province, which 20 families of them were assigned into the control group and of the other 20 families were in the experimental group. The sample were selected based on the inclusion criteria. The instruments used in the study consisted of 1) Brief Psychotic Rating Scale (BPRS), 2) caregivers’ burden questionnaire, and 3) Brief family support intervention. The experimental group received three sessions of Brief family support intervention, 60 minutes/ session, while a control group received regular nursing care. Data were collected during February 2015. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and t-test.

Results:1) After the experiment, the caregivers’ burden of families’ caregivers of schizophrenic patients who received brief family support intervention program was significantly lower than those before at the .05 level. 2) After the experiment, the psychiatric symptoms of schizophrenic patients who received brief family support intervention program was significantly lower than those before at the .05 level.  3) After the experiment, the caregivers’ burden of families’ caregivers of schizophrenic patients who received brief family support intervention program was significantly lower than those who received regular nursing at the .05 level. 4) After the experiment, the psychiatric symptoms of schizophrenic patients who received brief family support intervention program was significantly lower than those who received regular nursing care at the .05 level.

บทคัดย่อ

วัตถุประสงค์: เพื่อศึกษาผลของการใช้โปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่อต่อภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทและอาการทางจิตของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชน

วิธีการศึกษา:งานวิจัยนี้เป็นแบบกึ่งทดลองกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้ป่วยจิตเภทที่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยจากจิตแพทย์ตามเกณฑ์การวินิจฉัย ICD10 ไม่มีโรคจิตเวชอื่นๆร่วมด้วย และผู้ดูแลหลัก จำนวน 40 ครอบครัว ที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวเดียวกันกับผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชน ของอำเภอเมือง จังหวัดเพชรบุรี(กลุ่มควบคุม 20 ครอบครัว และกลุ่มทดลอง 20 ครอบครัว) คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจงตามเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด เครื่องมือที่ใช้ ประกอบด้วย แบบประเมินอาการทางจิตของผู้ป่วยจิตเภท แบบประเมินภาระการดูแลของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท และโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่อ กลุ่มทดลองได้รับโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวเป็นรายครอบครัว ที่บ้าน จำนวน 3 ครั้ง ๆ ละ 60 นาที รวมเป็นเวลา 3 สัปดาห์ ส่วนกลุ่มควบคุมได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติการเก็บข้อมูลดำเนินการในเดือน กุมภาพันธ์ พ.ศ. 2558 การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลใช้สถิติโดยการแจกแจงความถี่ หาค่าเฉลี่ย ร้อยละ ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และ t-test

ผลการศึกษา

1) ภาระของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภท ภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่อต่ำกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่ออย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

2) อาการทางจิตของผู้ป่วยจิตเภทในชุมชนภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่อต่ำกว่าก่อนได้รับโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่ออย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05

3) ภาระของผู้ดูแลผู้ป่วยจิตเภทภายหลังได้รับโปรแกรมการสนับสนุนครอบครัวแบบย่อต่ำกว่ากลุ่มที่ได้รับการพยาบาลตามปกติอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05
