Publication Ethics

Duties of Editor

  1. The editor is responsible for considering the quality of academic articles/research articles for publication in the journal under their responsibility.
  2. The editor must not disclose the information of the authors and reviewers of academic articles/research articles during the article evaluation process.
  3. The editor must consider selecting academic articles/research articles for publication after the academic article/research article evaluation process according to the evaluation criteria, considering the importance, novelty, clarity, and consistency of the article content with the journal policy.
  4. The editor must not publish academic articles/research articles published elsewhere.
  5. The editor must not reject the publication of academic articles/research articles due to doubts or uncertainty. Evidence must be found to prove such doubts first.
  6. The editor must not have conflicts of interest with the authors and reviewers of the articles.
  7. The editor must check academic articles/research articles for plagiarism using reliable programs to ensure that the published articles do not plagiarize the work of others. Suppose plagiarism is found during the article evaluation process. In that case, the editor must stop the evaluation process and immediately contact the primary author to request clarification to support the acceptance or rejection of the publication of the academic article/research article in the journal.

Duties of Authors

  1. According to the journal's requirements, all authors and co-authors must sign the acknowledgment form before submitting it for publication.
  2. Authors must certify that the submitted academic/research article is new and has never been published or submitted for publication in the same period.
  3. Authors must report the facts arising from the research and not distort data or provide false information.
  4. Authors must cite the work of others if they use it in their work and write the references both in the content and at the end of the article according to the journal's format.
  5. Authors must write academic/research articles correctly according to the format specified by the journal in the "Manuscript Preparation Guidelines."
  6. All authors whose names appear in the academic/research article must have participated.
  7. Authors must specify the source of funding that supported this research.
  8. If there is a conflict of interest, the author must clearly state it.
  9. Authors check their manuscripts for plagiarism and cite their sources correctly before submitting, such as using Turnitin, CopyCatch. This plagiarism detection software identifies the similarity index. Plagiarism prevention software helps ensure that sources are properly cited.
  10. Authors can use artificial intelligence (AI) and AI-assisted technologies to improve the language in the manuscript writing process. Authors explain how they use AI and AI-assisted technologies by adding a statement at the end of the manuscript before the reference list.

 

Duties for Reviewers

  1. Reviewers of academic articles/research articles must maintain confidentiality and not disclose information about the articles submitted for consideration to other persons during the article evaluation period.
  2. If the reviewers realize that they may have a conflict of interest with the author of the article after receiving the academic article/research article from the journal editor, such as being a project partner or knowing the author personally, or other reasons that prevent them from providing independent suggestions and comments, the reviewers should inform the journal editor and refuse to evaluate the academic article/research article.
  3. Reviewers should evaluate articles in their field of expertise, considering the importance of the content of the academic article/research article to that field, the quality of the analysis, and the intensity of the content. Personal opinions without supporting references should not be used as criteria for deciding to consider the academic article/research article.
  4. Reviewers must specify necessary research works consistent with the article being evaluated, but the author did not refer to them in the article evaluation. If the reviewers find that any part of the academic article/research article is similar or duplicates other works, the reviewers must inform the editor.
