บทคัดย่อ

The purposes were to: 1) Design STEM learning management integrated with the philosophy of sufficiency economy to develop elementary school students' critical thinking skills, and 2) Develop elementary school students' critical thinking skills through STEM learning management integrated with the philosophy of sufficiency economy. The sample consisted of 10 students of grade 5 from Ban Khok Cha Ngae School, under the Trang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 in the first semester of academic year 2024, selected through purposive sampling. This research was classroom action research. The research instruments consisted of five STEM learning management plans integrated with the sufficiency economy philosophy, student work, sufficiency market activity, and videos. Data analysis on critical thinking skills using constructivist theory, was analyzed using Lee's conceptual framework (Lee, 2006 as cited in Orraphan Lueboonthawatchai, 2000)

          Results: The research findings were as follows: 1) STEM learning management integrated with the philosophy of sufficiency economy to develop elementary students' critical thinking skills was 3 steps: Review, Practice and Conclusion. In each step of STEM items were integrated science, technology, engineering and mathematics that emphasized on the philosophy of sufficiency economy, that is, the learning outcomes of moderation, reasonableness and immunity.  2) The development of critical thinking skills of elementary school students through the organization of learning according to STEM education integrated with the philosophy of sufficiency economy showed that the critical thinking skills of all 5 components, namely the ability to define problems, the ability to gather information, the ability to analyze, the ability to synthesize and the ability to evaluate, in both activities consisting of the sufficiency economy activity and the sufficiency market activity, showed a higher critical thinking ability.
