The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics and paired t-test.
Research results revealed that 1) the multimedia e-book on the clinical practice manual on breastfeeding promotion was satisfied by students at highest level in overall and each dimensions (contents, design techniques, value and it benefits, and the usefulness). 2) the students’ satisfactions were significantly higher level towards the use of the multimedia e-book on the clinical practice manual on breastfeeding promotion than the use of hard copy almost dimensions such as the content (P value = .0009), the format of the manual (P value = .001), design techniques (P value = .003) interesting (P value = .0001) but except for obtaining additional knowledge (P value = .325) and the perception of benefits (P value = .103). Recommendation of this study suggested to apply this multimedia e-book with nursing students in regular program and nurse professional; and should develop multimedia e-book on other topics and other subjects, especially other clinical practices which will promote nursing students to better understand complex contents and to continue their self-directed learning as their on-demand learning.
