Abstract

Breast cancer is a major health problem worldwide and the most common of all cancer patients. Breast cancer in the early stages. surgery is often used as the main treatment combine with other alternative treatment methods, depending on the type, stage of disease and appropriateness for each patient. Nurses play an important role in caring, give advice to patients, preparing the patient’s mental and physical state to be ready for surgery and reduce complications after surgery. The authors brought experience, knowledge and relevant literature. Both in the disease, type, stage of breast cancer and essential nursing to convey knowledge to readers to have guidelines for caring for breast cancer patients who have undergone surgery properly, safely, as a consequence in a better quality of life for patients.
