บทบาทพยาบาลในการส่งเสริมการฟื้นตัวการทำงานของลำไส้หลังการผ่าตัดช่องท้อง

การผ่าตัดช่องท้อง เป็นการผ่าตัดชนิดหนึ่งที่มีจุดประสงค์เพื่อที่จะวินิจฉัย หรือรักษาอวัยวะที่ผิดปกติต่าง ๆ ในช่องท้องและอุ้งเชิงกราน ภาวะแทรกซ้อนหลังผ่าตัดที่พบได้บ่อย คือ ภาวะลำไส้หยุดเคลื่อนไหวหลังผ่าตัด จึงเป็นบทบาทสำคัญของพยาบาลในการดูแลผู้ป่วยหลังผ่าตัดช่องท้องให้มีการฟื้นตัวของลำไส้โดยเร็วที่สุด ทั้งนี้พยาบาลควรมีความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับภาวะลำไส้หยุดเคลื่อนไหวหลังผ่าตัด ระยะการฟื้นตัวด้านการทำหน้าที่ของลำไส้ กลไกการควบคุมการทำหน้าที่ของลำไส้ ปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการฟื้นตัวของลำไส้ ลักษณะทางคลินิก อาการ อาการแสดง และการป้องกัน โดยประยุกต์ใช้เทคนิควิธีการต่าง ๆ สามารถนำไปใช้ในการดูแลผู้ป่วย เพื่อช่วยส่งเสริมการฟื้นตัวของการทำงานของลำไส้หลังผ่าตัดช่องท้องได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพต่อไป
