พฤติกรรมการทำงานและวิถีชีวิตของแรงงานนอกระบบ: เกษตรกรปลูกข้าวโพด

พฤติกรรมการทำงานและวิถีชีวิตเป็นปัจจัยกำหนดสุขภาพหนึ่งที่สำคัญมีผลต่อภาวะสุขภาพของคนทำงาน การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาพฤติกรรมการทำงานและวิถีชีวิตของกลุ่มเกษตรกรปลูกข้าวโพด จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 339 ราย คัดเลือกกลุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง รวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบสัมภาษณ์ที่ผู้วิจัยพัฒนาขึ้นจากการทบทวนวรรณกรรม ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงด้านเนื้อหาจากผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ได้ค่าดัชนีความตรงตามเนื้อหาเท่ากับ .99 และทดสอบความเชื่อมั่นทั้งในส่วนพฤติกรรมการทำงานและวิถีชีวิตได้ค่าในระดับที่ยอมรับได้ เท่ากับ 0.80 และ 0.94 ตามลำดับ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 65.2 มีพฤติกรรมการทำงานที่ปลอดภัย (การใช้อุปกรณ์ป้องกันอันตรายส่วนบุคคล และการปฏิบัติตามหลักการทำงานที่ปลอดภัย) อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง มีเพียง ร้อยละ 16.81 มีพฤติกรรมการทำงานที่ปลอดภัยอยู่ในระดับสูง นอกจากนี้กลุ่มตัวอย่างเกือบสองในสาม (ร้อยละ 63.72) มีวิถีชีวิตที่ปลอดภัย (การบริโภคอาหาร กิจกรรมทางกาย การพักผ่อนและนอนหลับ และการไม่ใช้สารเสพติด) อยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และร้อยละ 17.99 ที่มีวิถีชีวิตที่ปลอดภัยอยู่ในระดับสูง
ผลการวิจัยชี้ให้เห็นว่า ทีมบุคลากรทางสุขภาพควรตระหนักถึงความสำคัญและดำเนินการเฝ้าระวังสุขภาพตามความเสี่ยงของเกษตรกรปลูกข้าวโพดอย่างเป็นระบบและต่อเนื่อง รวมทั้งเฝ้าระวังทางสิ่งแวดล้อม จัดการเผยแพร่ข้อมูลข่าวสารด้านสุขภาพ และการสื่อสารความเสี่ยงด้านสุขภาพจากการทำงาน นำไปสู่การปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมการทำงานและวิถีชิวิตเพื่อป้องกันหรือลดความเสี่ยงจากการทำงาน ก่อให้เกิดการทำงานที่ปลอดภัยส่งผลต่อการมีคุณภาพชีวิตที่ดี
