ปัจจุบันปัญหาความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ของสตรีไทยมีเพิ่มมากขึ้นทุกวัน ส่วนใหญ่เกิดจากการถูกทำร้ายร่างกาย การถูกล่วงละเมิดเพศ การล่วงละเมิดทางอารมณ์ การแสดงออกทางสีหน้า คำพูดข่มขู่ อีกทั้งความรุนแรงที่เกิดขึ้นในชีวิตคู่ ส่งผลกระทบต่อตัวของสตรีทั้งด้านร่างกายและด้านจิตใจส่งผลให้เกิดปัญหาสุขภาพจิตต่าง ๆ เพิ่มสูงขึ้น บทความนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอ ความหมายของความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ รูปแบบความรุนแรงใน
ชีวิตคู่ วงจรของความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ และบทบาทของพยาบาลในการดูแลสตรีที่ได้ความรุนแรงในชีวิตคู่ ซึ่งประกอบไปด้วย การคัดกรองและการประเมินความรุนแรง การใช้เทคโนโลยีและสื่อดิจิตอลที่ทันสมัยเอื้อต่อสตรี
ที่ได้รับความรุนแรงให้สามารถเข้าถึงแหล่งให้ความช่วยเหลือได้
