ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับความว้าเหว่ของผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวขยายในเขตชนบท

ความว้าเหว่เป็นความรู้สึกหนึ่งที่สามารถพบได้ในผู้สูงอายุซึ่งส่งผลกระทบต่อทั้งทางร่างกาย จิตใจและสังคม ดังนั้นหากทราบถึงปัจจัยที่สัมพันธ์กับความว้าเหว่จะสามารถช่วยบรรเทาแก้ไขไม่ให้เกิดความว้าเหว่ในผู้สูงอายุ ในการศึกษาครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความว้าเหว่และความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างความรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเอง สัมพันธภาพในครอบครัว และการสนับสนุนทางสังคมกับความว้าเหว่ของผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวขยายในเขตชนบท กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษาคือ ผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวขยายในเขตชนบท จังหวัดนครศรีธรรมราช จำนวน 85 ราย คัดเลือกด้วยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบหลายขั้นตอน (multi-stage sampling) เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย แบบสอบถามข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล แบบวัดความรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเอง แบบวัดสัมพันธภาพในครอบครัว แบบวัดความว้าเหว่ และแบบวัดการสนับสนุนทางสังคม โดยมีค่าความเชื่อมั่นเท่ากับ 0.878, 0.840, 0.818, และ 0.859 ตามลำดับ สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล คือ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และสถิติสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์แบบสเปียร์แมน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1. คะแนนความว้าเหว่อยู่ในระดับน้อย 2. ความรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเองมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับความว้าเหว่ของผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวขยายในเขตชนบท (r = - 0.476, p < 0.01) 3. สัมพันธภาพในครอบครัวมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับความว้าเหว่ของผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวขยายในเขตชนบท (r = - 0.501, p < 0.01) 4. การสนับสนุนทางสังคมมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับความว้าเหว่ของผู้สูงอายุที่อาศัยอยู่ในครอบครัวขยายในเขตชนบท (r = - 0.655, p < 0.01) ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นประโยชน์สำหรับผู้ที่เกี่ยวข้องนำไปใช้ในการวางแผนส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุมีสัมพันธภาพที่ดีในครอบครัวและในสังคม และสนับสนุนให้ผู้สูงอายุรู้สึกมีคุณค่าในตนเองเพื่อป้องกันการเกิดความว้าเหว่
