ปัจจัยทำนายพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอด ของผู้ต้องขังชายเรือนจำจังหวัดแห่งหนึ่งในภาคใต้

ความหนาแน่นของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำประเทศไทย ส่งผลให้อุบัติการณ์วัณโรคปอดเพิ่มขึ้น ดังนั้น พฤติกรรมป้องกันวัณโรคจึงมีความสำคัญ การวิจัยเชิงทำนายนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยทำนายพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอดของผู้ต้องขังชายเรือนจำจังหวัดแห่งหนึ่งในภาคใต้ จำนวน 161 ราย รวบรวมข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถาม ประกอบด้วย ข้อมูลส่วนบุคคล การรับรู้ตามแนวคิดแบบแผนความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพ และพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอด เครื่องมือทั้งหมดผ่านการตรวจสอบความตรงตามเนื้อหาและความเชื่อมั่นแล้ว วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และ stepwise multiple regression analysis
ผลการวิจัยพบว่า กลุ่มตัวอย่างมีคะแนนเฉลี่ยพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอดอยู่ในระดับดี (M = 4.04, SD = .546) ปัจจัยที่สามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนของพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอด ได้แก่ การรับรู้ความสามารถของตนเองในการป้องกันวัณโรคปอด (ß = .487, p < .001) และการรับรู้ถึงประโยชน์ของการป้องกันวัณโรคปอด (ß = .172, p = .018) ทั้งสองปัจจัยสามารถร่วมกันทำนายพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอดของผู้ต้องขังชาย ได้ร้อยละ 33.10 (Adjusted R2 = 0.331, p < .001)
ผลการศึกษานี้ นำไปสู่ความรู้ความเข้าใจพฤติกรรมป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอดของผู้ต้องขังในเรือนจำ อันจะเป็นประโยชน์ต่อการพัฒนาโปรแกรมที่มีประสิทธิภาพ ที่เน้นการเสริมสร้างการรับรู้ความสามารถตนเองและการรับรู้ประโยชน์ในการป้องกันวัณโรคปอด เพื่อป้องกันการติดเชื้อวัณโรคปอดในผู้ต้องขังต่อไป
