บทคัดย่อ

การเปลี่ยนผ่านบทบาทเป็นบิดา อาจส่งผลให้มีการเปลี่ยนแปลงด้านอารมณ์ อาการและอาการแสดงด้านร่างกาย พัฒนาเป็นภาวะซึมเศร้าได้ การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาแบบหาความสัมพันธ์ครั้งนี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาภาวะซึมเศร้าและปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้จะเป็นบิดา กลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ ผู้จะเป็นบิดาที่มีภรรยาอายุครรภ์ระหว่าง 28-36 สัปดาห์ ในหน่วยฝากครรภ์ โรงพยาบาลแม่สรวย จังหวัดเชียงราย และโรงพยาบาลแม่อาย จังหวัดเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 115 ราย เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการรวบรวมข้อมูล คือ แบบประเมินภาวะซึมเศร้า 9 คำถาม แบบประเมินความวิตกกังวล (GAD-7) และแบบสอบถามการสนับสนุนทางสังคมของผู้จะเป็นบิดา วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา สถิติ chi-square tests และ Spearman rank correlation coefficient

ผลการศึกษาพบว่า
1. กลุ่มตัวอย่างร้อยละ 8.70 มีภาวะซึมเศร้า โดยมีค่าเฉลี่ย 8.60 (SD = 2.07) แสดงว่ามีอาการของโรคซึมเศร้าระดับน้อย
2. ปัจจัยที่เกี่ยวข้องกับภาวะซึมเศร้าของผู้จะเป็นบิดาพบว่า ความวิตกกังวลมีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับภาวะซึมเศร้าอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (r = .714, p < .001) และการสนับสนุนทางสังคมมีความสัมพันธ์ทางลบกับภาวะซึมเศร้าอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (r = -.276, p < .01) อย่างไรก็ตาม อายุ อาชีพ จำนวนครั้งของการเป็นบิดา ประวัติการเจ็บป่วยทางด้านจิตใจ และภาวะแทรกซ้อนขณะตั้งครรภ์ของภรรยา ไม่มีความสัมพันธ์กับภาวะซึมเศร้าของกลุ่มตัวอย่าง

ผลการวิจัยครั้งนี้ สามารถใช้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานสำหรับการคัดกรองภาวะซึมเศร้าในผู้จะเป็นบิดา ที่มาส่งภรรยาฝากครรภ์เมื่ออายุครรภ์ระหว่าง 28-36 สัปดาห์ได้
