ความต้องการข้อมูล และคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งต่อมน้ำเหลืองที่ได้รับยาเคมีบำบัด ที่ห้องรับบริการผู้ป่วยนอก โรงพยาบาลสังกัดมหาวิทยาลัย

ยาเคมีบำบัด ถึงแม้สามารถรักษาโรคมะเร็งต่อมน้ำเหลืองได้ แต่การรักษานั้นทำให้เกิดภาวะแทรกซ้อน ดังนั้นผู้ป่วยอาจต้องการข้อมูลที่หลากหลายเพื่อใช้ในการจัดการอาการตามสาเหตุที่เกิด นอกจากนี้ ยาเคมีบำบัดยังส่งผลกระทบต่อคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยในหลายด้าน การวิจัยเชิงพรรณนานี้ มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับความต้องการข้อมูล และระดับคุณภาพชีวิตของผู้ป่วยมะเร็งต่อมน้ำเหลืองที่ได้รับยาเคมีบำบัดที่ห้องรับบริการผู้ป่วยนอก โรงพยาบาลสังกัดมหาวิทยาลัย โดยสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบเฉพาะเจาะจง กลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นผู้ป่วยใหม่ที่ได้รับการวินิจฉัยว่าเป็นมะเร็งต่อมน้ำเหลืองที่ได้รับการนัดหมายมารับยาเคมีบำบัด จำนวน 127 คน เครื่องมือวิจัย ได้แก่ แบบสอบถามความต้องการข้อมูลผู้ป่วยมะเร็งต่อมน้ำเหลือง และแบบสอบถามคุณภาพชีวิตขององค์การอนามัยโลกฉบับภาษาไทย วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ความต้องการข้อมูลโดยรวมของกลุ่มตัวอย่างมีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (M = 4.47, SD = 0.49) เมื่อพิจารณารายด้านพบว่า ด้านการตรวจรักษาและพยากรณ์โรค มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมากที่สุด (M = 4.65, SD = 0.55) รองลงมา คือ ด้านโรค กลุ่มอาการ การรักษาและผลข้างเคียงโรค (M = 4.59, SD = 0.50) ด้านการดูแลตนเอง (M = 4.49, SD = 0.57) และด้านจิตสังคม (M = 4.33, SD = .73) ส่วนด้านสาเหตุของโรค การนอนหลับ การเปลี่ยนแปลงทางร่างกาย มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุดอยู่ในระดับมาก (M = 4.08, SD = 0.69) สำหรับคุณภาพชีวิตพบว่า ค่าเฉลี่ยโดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (M = 3.54, SD = 0.44) เมื่อพิจารณารายด้านพบว่า ด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม มีค่าเฉลี่ยมากที่สุดอยู่ในระดับดี (M = 4.72, SD = 0.45) รองลงมา คือ ด้านจิตใจ (M = 3.75, SD = 0.60) ส่วนด้านด้านสัมพันธภาพทางสังคมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (M = 3.50, SD = 0.62) สำหรับด้านร่างกายมีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำสุดอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (M = 3.20, SD = 0.54)
ผลการศึกษาที่ได้เป็นข้อมูลพื้นฐานที่สามารถนำไปใช้ในการวางแผนการให้ความรู้ และส่งเสริมคุณภาพชีวิตผู้ป่วยตามลำดับความสำคัญของความต้องการแต่ละด้านอย่างเหมาะสม
