ปัจจัยทำนายความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากและความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรม ของผู้เป็นเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2

เบาหวาน เป็นปัจจัยเสี่ยงของโรคปริทันต์อักเสบ ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากและความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรมของผู้เป็นเบาหวาน นำไปสู่การเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรมเพื่อป้องกันปัญหาสุขภาพช่องปาก การวิจัยเชิงทำนายแบบภาคตัดขวางนี้ ศึกษาปัจจัยทำนายความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากและความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรมของผู้เป็นเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 จำนวน 176 ราย เครื่องมือวิจัยเป็นแบบสอบถาม ประกอบด้วย 1) ข้อมูลทั่วไป 2) แรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม 3) การใช้สื่อด้านสุขภาพ 4) ความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก และ 5) ความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา สถิติ multiple regression และ logistic regression analysis.
ผลการศึกษาพบว่า ผู้เป็นเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 มีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง และมีความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรมหากมีปัญหาสุขภาพช่องปาก ร้อยละ 56.80 พบปัจจัยลักษณะบุคคล คือ เพศ อายุ และระดับการศึกษา ปัจจัยที่กำหนดสถานการณ์ คือ การเข้าถึงอินเทอร์เน็ต แรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม และการใช้สื่อด้านสุขภาพ สามารถร่วมทำนายความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < .01) โดยมีแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม การใช้สื่อด้านสุขภาพ และอายุ เป็นปัจจัยทำนายความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากของผู้เป็นเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ และผลวิเคราะห์ logistic regression analysis พบว่า ปัจจัยลักษณะบุคคล ปัจจัยที่กำหนดสถานการณ์ แรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม การใช้สื่อด้านสุขภาพ และความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก สามารถอธิบายความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรมได้ร้อยละ 51.1 นอกจากนี้ พบว่า เพศ ระดับการศึกษา แรงสนับสนุนทางสังคม และความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก มีอิทธิพลต่อความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรม อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p < .05) โดยเพศหญิงมีความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรม 3.237 เท่าของเพศชาย ผู้ที่มีระดับการศึกษาสูงกว่าประถมศึกษามีความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรม 3.874 เท่าของผู้ที่มีการศึกษาระดับต่ำกว่า ผู้ที่มีคะแนนแรงสนับสนุนทางสังคมเพิ่มขึ้นมีความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรมเพิ่มขึ้น 1.157 เท่า และผู้ที่มีคะแนนความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปากเพิ่มขึ้นมีความตั้งใจเข้ารับบริการทันตกรรมเพิ่มขึ้น 1.093 เท่า เมื่อควบคุมความเสี่ยงต่อการเกิดโรคปริทันต์อักเสบ และระยะเวลาการเป็นเบาหวาน
ผลการศึกษา สามารถใช้เป็นข้อมูลในการพัฒนาแนวทางการดูแลผู้เป็นเบาหวานชนิดที่ 2 ให้มีความรอบรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก โดยสนับสนุนให้บุคคลในครอบครัว เพื่อน บุคลากรด้านสุขภาพเข้ามามีส่วนร่วมสนับสนุนให้มีการใช้สื่อด้านสุขภาพ ผู้สนับสนุนเหล่านี้ควรสามารถประเมินและเลือกรูปแบบข้อมูลสุขภาพที่เหมาะสมตามความสามารถของแต่ละบุคคล และให้ความสำคัญกับการเพิ่มระดับความรู้ด้านสุขภาพช่องปาก
