บทคัดย่อ

This descriptive research aimed to study 1) self-care behavior to prevent acute exacerbation of COPD patients and 2) to study personal factors. health awareness and social support for self-care behavior to prevent acute exacerbation of COPD patients.

The sample group was 200 patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease who received services in Chumphonkhetudomsakdi Hospital, Chumphon Province, randomly selected by a systematic method. The research tool consisted of 4 parts:1) personal information, 2) self-care behaviors of COPD patients, 3) social support and 4) Health Awareness There was a content validity based on the IOC value. It was found that the content validity in the health awareness questionnaire social support and self-care behavior were .94, .95 and .79 respectively. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics. chi-square test Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression analysis.

The research results showed that (1) self-care behavior The overall level is moderate. (2) Factors influencing self-care behaviors to prevent acute exacerbation Overall, it was found that family social support had a positive influence. Social support for medical personnel had a negative effect. statistically significant effects on self-care behavior Together, they could predict self-care behavior to prevent acute exacerbation of 16.20% of patients.
