ปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพการทรงตัวในการป้องกันการพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุชุมชนโคกสูง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา

การวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงพรรณนาภาคตัดขวาง มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพการทรงตัวในการป้องกันการพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุ พื้นที่ตำบลโคกสูง อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดนครราชสีมา เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากผู้สูงอายุในชุมชนที่มีอายุ 60 ปีขึ้นไป จำนวน 314 คน โดยใช้แบบสอบถามปัจจัยความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพเกี่ยวกับการพลัดตกหกล้ม ร่วมกับแบบประเมินการทรงตัว ทดสอบความเชื่อมั่นของแบบสอบถามปัจจัยความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพเกี่ยวกับการพลัดตกหกล้ม ได้ค่าสัมประสิทธิ์แอลฟาของครอนบาคเท่ากับ .80 วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยสถิติเชิงพรรณนา และทดสอบความสัมพันธ์ด้วยสถิติไคว์สแควร์ และสัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์เพียร์สัน
ผลการศึกษา พบว่า ปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล ได้แก่ เพศ อายุ อาชีพ รายได้ ระดับการศึกษา สถานภาพสมรส โรคประจำตัว การใช้ยาประจำ ความสามารถในการมองเห็น ประวัติการพลัดตกหกล้มในรอบ 6 เดือน มีความสัมพันธ์กับคุณภาพการทรงตัวในการป้องกันการพลัดตกหกล้มของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน และปัจจัยความเชื่อด้านสุขภาพ ด้านการรับรู้ประโยชน์ของการปฏิบัติพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการหกล้ม มีความสัมพันธ์ทางบวกกับคุณภาพการทรงตัวของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน
ดังนั้นบุคลากรด้านสาธารณสุขควรส่งเสริมให้ผู้สูงอายุดูแลตัวเองเพื่อชะลอและป้องกันการพลัดตกหกล้มในผู้สูงอายุ โดยคำนึงถึงปัจจัยส่วนบุคคล และเพิ่มการรับรู้ประโยชน์ของการปฏิบัติพฤติกรรมการป้องกันการหกล้ม เพื่อเพิ่มคุณภาพในการทรงตัวของผู้สูงอายุในชุมชน
