Development of Care Fever Application to Promote Self-management of Fever

Abstract

The objectives of this research were 1) to develop a model for managing fever with the Care Fever application; 2) to study the effect of using the Care Fever application, which consisted of: the ability to manage fever on their own and satisfaction with using the Care Fever application. The samples were conveniently randomized from the population in Surat Thani Province. It consists of 50 youth groups, 50 working adults, 50 elderly people. The research tools consisted of 1) Care Fever Application 2) Fever Self-Management Evaluation Form 3) Satisfaction Form. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics and Paired t-test statistics were compared with scores on the ability to manage fever before and after using the Care Fever application. (Care Fever) It was found that the mean score on self-management of fever after using the Care Fever application was significantly higher than before. And has the high level of satisfaction with using the Care Fever application. It can be seen that the Care Fever application is an effective health innovation in promoting the ability to self-manage fever accurately and safely against serious complications that may arise.
