Situation of Food and Nutrition Management For Preschool Children in Thepa Sub-district, Thepa District, Songkhla Province

This Research in Thepa Sub-district, Thepa District, Songkhla Province, Aimed to survey situation of Nutritional status of Preschool Children, Food consumption behaviors nutritional management model for Preschool Children using mother’s food guideline. 1) Survey situation of Nutritional status of Preschool Children, Food consumption behaviors. Sample of survey were 43 Preschool Children in Thepa Subdistrict, Thepa District, Songkhla Province. Quantitative data were analyzed using questionnaire: Nutritional program, Graph for growth of children frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation, focus group with semi -structure content analysis was used for qualitative data. Results revealed as follows:.
1. For situation of food and nutrition in Preschool Children, Weight according to age criteria it was found that normal 35 people (81.40%), below the threshold 5 people (25 %), weight is quite heavy 1 people (3.57 %) Food Behaviors last week it was found that moderate (X = 2.33, SD = .74)
2. Food and nutrition management model for Preschool Children by using mother’s food guideline 3 steps are as follow; 1) Analysis of the cause nutrition 2) Analysis of the problems nutrition. 3) Using Mother’s Food Guideline For Preschool Children. The management results showed that Preschool Children eat vegetable and fruit are higher. Plant Family and Mother useful cooking, realize and see the importance, Promotion group activities to support knowledge and relationship suck as planting vegetable for cooking together.
