The cross sectional descriptive study aimed to study the expectation and actuality to service, factors relating to the expectation and actuality to service and comparison between the expectation and actuality to service, Respiration Care Unit, Chumphon Khet Udomsakdi Hospital. The sample included 41 patient’s relatives. The research instruments were questionnaire which were designed by the researcher after the review of related literature., content valid and reliability. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation and paired t-test were used for data analysis.
The result showed that the expectation and actuality to service of medical services aspects (Mean = 4.58 and Mean = 4.39), service quality aspects (Mean = 4.57 and Mean = 4.38) , facilities of service aspects (Mean = 4.56 and Mean = 4.37) and three aspects (Mean = 4.56 and Mean = 4.38) were at high level. The personal factors in term of age was found to be significantly related to the expectation and actuality to service and occupational was found to be significantly related to the actuality to service at the 0.05 level, the expectation and actuality to service of medical services aspects were difference significant at the level of .05.
The result of this study made to development of three aspects, especially medical services aspects by service system development and communicate to patient and relative for qualitatively and appropriate on nursing and medical care.
