Effectiveness of the promoting reception of cervical cancer screening service program among 30 to 60 year old women in Vibhavadi Hospital area

This one-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental research aimed to compare the perception of cervical cancer and disease prevention and cervical cancer screening behavior before and after entering a health behavior promotion program for cervical cancer screening among 30 to 60-year-old women and evaluate the satisfaction of using the program. The sample was 30 women aged 30-60 years in Vibhavadi district, Suratthani province, selected by purposive sampling. The instrument was a set of questionnaires including 3 parts 1) demographic recording form, 2) perception of cervical cancer and disease prevention questionnaire, which was validated by experts and tested for reliability using Cronbach alpha coefficient yielding a value of 0.92, 3) satisfaction of using the program questionnaire. Data were collected before and after using the program from March 1, 2022, to June 30, 2022. Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and Paired t-tests. Research results were found as follows;
1) After entering the program, the sample had a significantly higher mean score of perception of cervical cancer and disease prevention (p<0.001).
2) After entering the program, the sample had 93.33 % of cervical cancer screening services within 1 month and was highly satisfied with using the program.
