Abstract

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is caused by a developmental disorder that results from a genetic disorder and may cause by impaired brain function. As a result, problems with self-control, such as hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. These behaviours of children with ADHD more than normal children of the same age affect daily living or impaired sociability. There are two types of ADHD children: 1) True ADHD is caused by two main causes namely 1) congenital cerebral palsy and 2) fetal brain for example, the mother's malnutrition or obtain toxin, dystocia, and children with epileptic or encephalitis. As a result, neurotransmitters that control attention are lower than in normal children. Children will express symptom if inappropriate care or more stimulus and inheritance. 2) Pseudo-ADHD results from nurturing, environment. However, there are children with normal brains, and symptoms like ADHD are often found in kindergarten children who are hurried child.

This academic article aims to review the ADHD factors related to attention deficit behavioural problems among school-aged children, the cause of ADHD, factors associated with behavioural problems of school-aged, the problems of children with ADHD, the effects of ADHD in School-aged children and the role of nurses to caring for children with ADHD among school-aged. Behavioural problems with ADHD that appear during early life can affect academic personality development and social. There is no effective treatment for this disease. However, the proper care will help children with ADHD to learn at their maximum potential of their aged and success in their study and their life. Moreover, they can able to live happily in society.
