Effectiveness the Development Program on Health Literacy and Health Behaviors of The Village Health Volunteers In Vibhavadi Hospital, Vibhavadi District, Suratthani Province

This part of the quasi-experimental research, single-group measurement, was used to study and support the program to develop literacy and monitor the health of village public health volunteers at Vibhavadi Hospital, Vibhavadi District, Surat Thani province. The sample included village public health volunteers in the Vibhavadi Hospital area, Surat Thani Province Detected, specifically villages, with five people each and 30 people. The tools used in the experiment include a program to develop knowledge and health behavior, including relationship building. Assess risky behavior and analyze causes. Develop health literacy and health behavior exchange of expertise. Make a self-care plan and follow up on health behaviors. Data were collected using questionnaires consisting of a health literacy assessment form and a health behavior assessment form. Content validity was sought by three experts. Evaluate the index of consistency between the questions and the research objectives. It was found that there was a concordance index between the questions and the objectives of more than .67. All items passed the reliability test using Cronbach's alpha of .82 and .87, respectively. Data were collected between March 2022 - July. 2022 Data were analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation statistics. And correlation t-value test. The research results found that.
1. The health behavior of the sample group, after they participated in the program to develop knowledge and health behavior of village health volunteers at Vibhavadi Hospital, Vibhavadi District, Surat Thani Province, demonstrated a significant improvement (p< .001). This positive change in behavior is a testament to the program's effectiveness in promoting healthier lifestyles.
2. The health behavior of the sample group, after participating in the program to develop knowledge and health behavior of village health volunteers at Vibhavadi Hospital, Vibhavadi District, Surat Thani Province, demonstrated a significant improvement (p< .001). This positive change in behavior is a testament to the program's effectiveness in promoting healthier lifestyles.
The program to develop health knowledge and behavior of village health volunteers has the potential to be a powerful tool in enhancing knowledge and health behavior among working-age people and other groups. This scalability can lead to a broader dissemination of correct health knowledge and behavior, inspiring healthier communities.
