Gotu Kola

Abstract
Gotu Kola, Scientific name Centella asiatica. Herbaceous plants with round, kidney-shaped leaves (reniform). Triterpenoids, called centelloids were found. Classified in the national essential drug list, namely Gotu Kola (capsule, infusion), Gotu Kola ointment. Properties of Thai Traditional Medicine, used to cure bruises, congestion in tissues, fever, headache, heat in thirst. External use, help stop bleeding, burns, scalds, black and green bruises, neutralize insect bites. Pharmacological effects include wound healing, collagen synthesis, increasing blood flow, prevent amnesia, anti-inflammatory.
