Abstract

When the cervical nerve roots in the area of the neural foramen are compressed or inflamed, it can usually cause cervical radiculopathy. Cervical disc herniation and cervical spondylosis are affected by the cervical stenosis that makes radiculopathy. History taking and physical examination could be the way to diagnose this condition, however, one should be aware of the symptoms that can present similar presentation, for instance, entrapment neuropathies. This article discusses the clinical presentation, pathophysiology and evaluation of cervical radiculopathy.
