Aims and Scope

Ramathibodi Medical Journal (RMJ), has been continuously operating since 1978. This peer-reviewed journal aims to disseminate research findings, academic progress, innovations, and routine-to-research (R2R) work in all areas of medicine, medical science, and public health to medical personnel, scientists, and researchers domestically and abroad. RMJ covers a range of article types, including original articles, review articles, special articles, case reports, and letters to the editor, written in English and Thai. A study involving human or animal subjects described in the articles must be approved by the research ethics committee of a relevant agency or institution.

Target Audience

The journal's target readers include clinicians, medical staff, residents, medical and graduate students, nurses, scientists, researchers, and personnel from all medical and science disciplines.

Publication Frequency

The journal publishes 4 issues annually: No.1 in January - March, No.2 in April - June, No.3 in July - September, and No.4 in October - December. This regular schedule ensures that valuable research and knowledge are disseminated consistently to the medical community and related disciplines.


The RMJ contents are freely available for our readers to access online (E-ISSN: 2651-0561). Current and archived issues are distributed online to our readers worldwide via our website.

Article Processing Charge

RMJ supports the authors in publishing their work without any article processing charge (APC).


RMJ has been indexed in the following databases: Thai Journal Citation Index (TCI), ASEAN Citation Index (ACI), Crossref, Google Scholar, and Transpose.

Open Access Policy

RMJ supports open-access publication, allowing anyone to access and read the journal articles without charge. All articles are distributed by the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY-NC-ND) license.
